Best Restaurants in Belfast

Best Modern: Shu www.shu-restaurant.com
Great service and great food. Has a really good bar too if you want to make a night of it.
Try the squid starter, the best starter dish in any restaurant in Belfast. Also if you see the nougatine on the dessert menu, go for it.

Best New Find: Bastille
The food is really good, chef used to work @ Thyme where the food was also excellent. Only problem is the service is a little slow when the restaurant is busy. This is compounded by the lack of English a lot of the waiters have. Once they sort this out, this could become one of the best restaurants in Belfast.

Best Indian: Lolita http://www.lolitarestaurant.co.uk/
Definitely the best indian restaurant in Belfast, try the tandoori prawn dish, and watch out for one too many free sam bucas!!! The Jharna, has now been pushed into 2nd place.

Best of the worst | New Finds
Very disappointed by the Fitzwilliam, although shouldn't have been, as the one in Dublin also leaves a lot to be desired. But La Boca, definitely blows it out of the water for best of the worst (read review) Others to be avoided : menu, coco, no27

The Michael Dinner award for restaurant funnies.
This is from a few years back, but overheard the waitress in Beatrice Kennedies comparing my rib eye steak to a lump of turd with the chef. It was very tasty though.
